San Marzano Edda Bianco 2020

Hi Folks, Happy New Year! We're back and so is our No.1 selling Italian White wine of all time, the EDDA! But before I re-acquaint you with this gorgeous wine, I'll make mention of our number #1 selling wine of 2021, Masso Antico Salento Primitivo .   I name drop this because it also received 99 Points from Luca Maroni.  His palate is aligned to the classical drinkers and I believe the wine we have today is evolving to become the next Masso Antico.  So, let's delve deeper into the San Marzano Edda Bianco 2020, the 99 Point Italian White Wine of the Year.

Old school Chardonnay lovers this is what you've been waiting for! This is a blend of  80% Chardonnay, 15% Moscatello Selvatico, 5% Fiano. With unique fully-ripened peach and floral aromatics, which are interwoven with delightful hints of freshly squeezed lime, mint and herbal complexity. It spent 4 months in oak, which is just enough to give it that old world charm without the harshness so many producers released in the 80's.  It's fantastic and here's Luca Maroni glowing review:
