''This boasts intense aromas of jasmine, Rennet apple and white peach. The juicy, concentrated palate delivers grapefruit, Concorde pear, ginger and a hint of sage alongside fresh acidity.'' 91 Points, Kerin O'Keefe, Wine Enthusiast Magazine
''Vibrant and lively fruit, melon, white peach, citrus. Zesty acidity, juicy palate, dry and well balanced, with quite a long finish.'' 90 Points, Decanter Magazine
Verdicchio may well be a relatively unknown white grape varietal in Australia, but in Le Marche (an Eastern Region of Italy), Verdicchio has more or less put Le Marche on the map with centuries of wine-growing tradition.
What I really like about this dry white wine is its combination of balanced richness on the palate along with its well roundness and fresh aromas which lead to a crisp drinking sensation with notes of ripe peaches, apples, exotic fruits, hazelnuts, butter and minerality all playing their part.
