''The palate is crisp and very vibrant, with mouth-watering acidity and crispness. Delicious flavour and balance. An exemplary Soave." Huon Hooke, The Real Review (Previous Vintage Review)
''There is much diversity within Soave, as they can be crisp with a fresh, fruity liveliness while others are stylistically denser and richer which adds to the texture, depth and complexities. With focused flavours that include an almond like nuttiness, minerals, citrus and occasionally a touch of tropical fruit.'' Eric Asimov, New York Times
''Soave, the lovely dry white from Italy’s Veneto region is quietly undergoing an Italian renaissance as one of the country’s most distinctive white wines known for its complexity, texture and finesse.'' Tom Hyland, Forbes.com
Soave wines are indeed better than ever and it's generally accepted that Soave producers are now making some of the best white wines in all of Northern Italy. This wine from Tamellini is a very good example of Soave in action. Beautiful varietal notes of apricots, honey and wild flowers come together on a mid-weight frame, showing lovely clarity and a focused, energetic finish.
"Medium to light, bright yellow colour leads into a creamy, smoky-lees bouquet. While the palate is crisp and very vibrant, with mouth-watering acidity and crispness, the mid-palate blossoms with lovely ripe floral and stone-fruit flavours, moving into a softly lingering, satisfying aftertaste. Delicious flavour and balance. An exemplary Soave." Huon Hooke, The Real Review, (Previous Vintage Review)
