Gold Medal Awarded: Concours de Bordeaux 2018, ''This has a ripe complex bouquet of red and black fruits, spice and vanilla notes. With a charming, medium bodied, impressively elegant style, fine tannins, and a good balance.'' Jeb Dunnuck
Hi Folks, This is a 6 year old, gold medal winning Bordeaux from a dress-circle area (Medoc) for less than $40. It's becoming increasing difficult to find Bordeaux from 2015; the vintage was one of the best on record and international wine drinkers have snapped most of them up, but this has flown under the radar, until now.
“2015s are wonderfully sensual, exotic wines that should drink well relatively early and also reward aging” Antonio Galloni
One sip and you'll know what you're drinking- good quality aged Bordeaux. It's medium bodied, plush and with soft tannins that only good years like 2015 produce.
Here's what the Bordeaux focused writer's are saying:
"This fruit-driven wine also has a firm, dry structure. The 29-acre vineyard is dominated by 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, which is reflected in the wine. Black currants are backed by a dry core of tannin from the fruit as much as wood. Drink this wine from 2022". Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast Magazine
''This has a ripe complex bouquet of sweet red and black fruits, spice and vanilla notes. With a charming, medium bodied, impressively elegant style, fine tannins, and a good balance.'' Jeb Dunnuck
