''Notes of both red and dark cherry, along with earth and wood nuances. The rich and relatively full-bodied flavours possess excellent mid-palate concentration. This offers very fine quality.'' 91 Points, Allan Meadows, Burghound.com
''Elegant, precise, with ample depth of dark and red berry fruit intermingling with nicely integrated oak.'' 90 Points, Andy Howard, Decanter Magazine
Ladoix borders on the Cote de Nuits and brings the black fruits of that region into a marriage with the red fruits of the Cote de Beaune to make a wonderfully complex and satisfying wine. The vineyards lie at the foot of the hillside of Corton. The vines are quite old, one part of the vineyard having been planted in 1926.
