''This bursts forth with a torrent of dark plum, boysenberry and blackberry flavors. Vivid, racy and energetic throughout, with extra sweet bay leaf, violet and black olive elements chiming through repeatedly, while a mouth-watering minerality courses underneath it all.'' 94 Points, James Molesworth, Wine Spectator Magazine
"The Cornas is brilliant and certainly in the same ballpark as the 2016 and 2017. Lots of red and blue fruits, smoked earth, graphite, iron, violets, and gamey notes define this full-bodied Cornas. With ample tannins, fabulous balance, and a big finish. Should drink fabulously well over the following 15 years." 94 Points, Jeb Dunnuck (Previous Vintage Review)
Cornas is one of the smallest appellations in all of France, and is known for its earthy Syrah—the only vareital that can be grown on the steep sand, granite, and limestone slopes of the west side of the Rhône River.
Expressive, deep, rich, silky and juicy. Well structured and round, it displays red fruit, leather, black cherry, liquorice and black berry aromas.
