As we pointed out above with Andrew Graham's review, "375ml bottles work out as just over one glass of wine per person, which really is the perfect amount for mid week drinking and ideal if you’re having a glass by yourself". We reckon this is the best European Whites 6-pack offer of half bottles you'll see all year. Enjoy!
This Whites Only Half Bottle 6-pack contains one bottle each of the following wines in 375ml format:
Domaine William Fevre Chablis 2019 Combining lovely fruitiness with an attractive freshness and characteristic minerality, Very elegant bouquet, developing citrus, white-fleshed fruit and floral notes.
Pascal et Nicolas Reverdy Sancerre 2020 ''Aromatically it commences with a very fresh, open, saline character. The palate shows a real elegance and polish, lightly leafy white peaches underpinned by a gentle bed of acid fruits, and a lovely mineral substance to it as well. This is very good indeed.'' 93 Points, Chris Kissack, The Wine Doctor (Previous Vintage Review)
Domaine Grenaudiere Muscadet 2019 Green apples and lime on the zesty nose; the mouth is clean, crisp and refreshing, with a bit more juice and body, but finishes with a sensation of citrus fruits.
Pierrick Laroche Chablis 2018 ''This offers up a pretty bouquet of lemon, apple, flinty minerality, dried flowers and a bit of upper register smokiness. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied and nicely tensile, with a good core, fine flinty soil signature, lovely focus and grip and a long, complex and zesty finish. This is very good.’' 90 Points, John Gilman, View from the Cellar
Livon Pinot Grigio 2019 It has a fragrant bouquet, recalling citrus, apples. steely minerality, vanilla and lime flowers. Much rounder and more supple than most would expect. The ripe apple flavour carries through with a touch of lemon and a bit of creaminess to the finish.
Eric Louis Pouilly Fume 2018 A beautiful shine and a nice fresh nose, fruit-driven and rather subtle. Note the characteristic notes of flinty minerals. This all combines to give freshness and roundness.
