Our Tour of Italy 6 Pack pays homage to the 2021 edition of Italy's Annual Cycling Grand Tour: 'Giro d'Italia'. The regions of Trentino, Le Marche, Puglia, Tuscany, Piedmont and Abruzzo were all visited and here are 6 Fantastic representations of each wine region. Viva il Giro!

The 2021 Giro Pack contains 1 x wine each from the following selection:

Cavit Bottega Vinai Pinot Grigio 2019
Trentino: ''Highlighted by aromas of peach, lemon, and herbaceous tones. Crisp, with a clean finish.'' 93 Points, International Wine Challenge 2020

Velenosi Querci Antica Lacrima di Morro 2018
Le Marche: Uniquely rich characteristics, intense, pleasantly fruity (strawberry, marasca cherry) and flowery (violet, rosebuds).

Tenuta Ulisse Terre di Chieti Pecorino 2020
Abruzzo: ''No Italian white boasts and reveals an aromatic integrity as crystalline as that of a glass of Tenuta Ulisse Terre di Chieti Pecorino. The varietal aromas stand out with a clearness and a fragrance that make them absolutely shine. With their native perfumes displaying aromatic results that excite the senses. This is a wine of maximum value: the dense grape, perfectly ripe and clear as in nature, has a power of aroma and a spectacular allure. Supreme'' 97 Points, Luca Maroni

Villa Trasqua Traluna Sangiovese 2019
Tuscany: ''Great aromatic allure, a softness that manifests itself on the palate, clearly announced by a juicy balsamic blackcurrant perfume. Its great blackberry consistency majestically delineated by the deep blackness of its colour. A tactilely viscous, densely unfolding of extreme fruit maturity. This is the main feature of this: the illicit purity of its fruit, as much in its clean aroma as its original vigour. Viticultural mastery in postponing the harvest not too late, oenological mastery in making it minty deep sovereign sweetness crystalline new.'' 98 Points, Luca Maroni, (Previous Vintage Review)

Roberto Sarotto Barbera D'Asti 2019
Piemonte: Intense ruby red colour, aromas of woodland berries, raspberries and blackberries. Full and pervasive flavour with hints of ripe fruit, raspberry jam and white pepper with fine-grained tannins and enough acidity to keep it fresh from start to finish.

Varvaglione Dodici e Mezzo Primitivo del Salento 2017
Puglia: Very elegant, intense aromas of plums and cherry scents. Slightly spicy with hints of cocoa on the finish. Great structure and simply delicious by itself or with food.
