''Forward in style but lively, with a lemon gelée streak amid the papaya and mango flavors, giving this some energy to offset the tropical side. Nice flashes of sweetened butter and toasted coconut run through the finish. Drink now through 2030.'' 90 Points, Wine Spectator Magazine
''Pale gold and with all the richness and majesty of a top quality Sauternes. Suduiraut is renowned for producing reliably exciting and superior Sauternes for many years now." Jancis Robinson
Lions de Suduiraut 2017 reveals a bright gulden colour. Initially, the nose is very delicate with hints of rose and passionfruit. After airing, notes of candied tropical fruits develop, such as pineapple, followed by roasted apricot and candied orange. The attach is fleshy, with freshness. The palate is full of fruit, with a still perceptible tropical and candied character. The finish is clean, taut and mineral, with notes of honey and candied orange. With this vintage of Lions de Suduiraut, the appeal of this fleshy, fruit-laden, slightly exuberant cuvée shines through, with a light and direct finish
