"Great concentration and impressive softness. A wine that everyone will enjoy." 99 Points - Luca Maroni
It's released! The new 2018. It's a winner with a rating of 99 points by Luca Maroni. It's also a winner with drinkers, the 2018 was voted on Vivino as the "best reviewed vintage"
This Masso Antico is the equal highest rated wine in Luca Maroni's Best Italian Wines Annual. For those new to Luca Maroni, he's one of Italy's most renowned wine critics – Italy's James Halliday or Jeremy Oliver if you like and this is one of his highest ever rated wines. We should also point out in was awarded Gold at the Berliner Wein Trophy (Germany's largest wine show).
This primitivo is produced in Puglia, the heel of the Italian boot and it delivers a rich, dense & powerful wine. Many would remember the Amaranta Montepulciano, which also received 99 points, this is more refined, has more interest, and comes loaded with that slurpable juicy fruit everyone enjoys, it's like a little bit of Italian sunshine in a glass.
You're never likely to see a wine like this again. If James Halliday rated a wine 99 points and it was $19.99, I guarantee it would be sold out by now. We have limited stocks, so buy while you can, you won't be disappointed
