''With bright red currant aromas and pomegranate flavour, both completed by black pepper complexity and a smoky finish. The palate is almost full, while chewy and sweet, fine tannins lend perfect balance with refreshing acidity and a broad, cherry finish. Great definition.'' 91 Points, Aldo Fiordelli, Decanter Magazine
''Precise aromas and flavours of red berries, violet and minerals. Rich and suave for a Rosso di Montalcino, with fine tannins and balance on the long delicately herbal finish. This lovely wine is remarkably easy to drink.'' 93 Points, Ian D'Agata, Vinous Media (Previous Vintage Review)
''The Talenti Rosso di Montalcino is a pleasure to taste. It presents a vibrant expression of crushed black cherries and dark florals, offset by savory herbs giving way to classic leather and earth tones. The finish is long with just a bit of grip, strutting its ripe red berry fruit and spice, yet not in a powerful way, but instead refined and especially energetic.'' 92 Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media (Previous Vintage Review)
''I find the new Rosso's to have more freshness and elegance than the 2015s showed upon release. That said, there’s a lot of depth and power to be found here as well. Expect the 2019's to drink well upon release, but even better after a year or two of cellaring. In closing, I believe that Rosso di Montalcino has never been better than it is today. It delivers a highly enjoyable expression of Sangiovese with Montalcino pedigree, with its zesty fruit and high acidity, will pair with nearly any meal imaginable.'' Eric Guido, Vinous Media
The Talenti Rosso di Montalcino is ruby red and intense in colour with a violet shimmer. It is medium-bodied with crisp red and black cherry fruit, savoury earthy notes and a sprinkling of spice. The tannins are ripe and fine with fresh acidity.
Its goes without saying that this Rosso di Montalcino will be gone in a flash, so if you love your Sangiovese from one of the great appellations, but don't won't to spend an extravagant amount on one, than now is an excellent time to stock up!
