Hi Folks, Back In 2024 we showcased our first wine from one of Spain's best wineries: Bodegas Valdemar. Under $25, the Valdemoreda Rioja Tempranillo was arguably our best value red from Spain's World renowned Rioja region. Many of you would have had the pleasure of enjoying this over that time frame, however as we edge closer to 2026, we thought it wise to showcase another of the hidden gems from Bodegas Valdemar that again fly under the radar. The 2023 Rioja Blanco made from predominantly 80% Viura, Malvasia and Tempranillo Blanco is a fantastic launching pad for discovering the wonderful world that is White Rioja. So What's it Like? Well, straight off the bat this White Rioja will captivate you with its aromatic bouquet of citrus, green apple, and subtle floral notes. Very crisp and refreshing on the palate, it offers a perfect balance of acidity and fruit; with its mineral edge reminding you of its limestone soils. Aged briefly on lees for texture and finesse. A delicious White to explore!
