Chateau Filhot Sauternes 2020 (375ml)

Founded in 1709 and still family-run under Gabriel de Vaucelles, Château Filhot is one of Sauternes’ historic estates and was classified Deuxième Cru Classé in 1855. The 2020 is a blend of 60% Sémillon, 36% Sauvignon Blanc and 4% Muscadelle, harvested by hand in successive passes. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel before around two years of maturation in a combination of Allier oak barrels and vats, with roughly one-third new barrels each year.
