This is a beautiful, perfect expression of juicy Rhone Grenache. André Roméro is the legendary wine maker, now joined by his son and nephew. Dominated by Grenache, this is a wonderfully ripe, fresh, juicy and succulent wine with black and red fruits. There are ripe tannins on the finish and some freshness which adds balance. These are tiny yields; the grapes are 100% handpicked and the selective picking and extraordinary vinification process would suggest a product of twice the price. Robert Parker described the estate as "The superstar of Rasteau… drop-dead delicious red wines."
