Pieropan Soave Classico 'Calvarino' 2024

One of two single vineyard wines from Pieropan. The 'Calvarino' has 30% Trebbiano in the mix, sees no oak and is nearly always tight and minerally. Average vine age 30 - 60 years.

The name ‘Calvarino’ derives from ‘Little Calvary’ reflecting how difficult the soil is to work and the tortuous path which winds from top to bottom. The label was first released in 1971.
