One of Spain's most delicious and underrated white wines is White Rioja. The Sierra de Toloño Rioja Blanco 2022 is arguably the best White Rioja in Australia under $40. Produced by one of the most talented winemaker's in Europe, Sandra Bravo, with her winery now classified in 2023 as First Growth status in Spain sitting comfortably alongside its biggest names. This absolutely sings. Its bright, textured and beautifully aromatic. The palate shows incredibly freshness and vitality, medium bodied with citric and white floral characters alongside a gentle mineral finish. A blend of predominantly Viura with some Calagraño and Rojal.
