Antinori Tignanello Toscana IGT 2022

Antinori’s pioneering Tignanello comes exclusively from its namesake vineyard in Chianti Classico, where limestone-rich soils shape this Sangiovese-led blend with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The 2022 matured for just over 13 months in predominantly new French oak, with a small proportion of Hungarian oak, followed by another year in bottle.

Cherry, ripe black cherry and pomegranate mingle with violet, balsamic and vanilla notes. The palate combines concentrated fruit with freshness, supple savoury tannins and a long finish. Awarded 97 points by Wine Advocate and 96 points by James Suckling.
