Burlotto Barolo 2022

G.B. Burlotto, founded in 1850 in Verduno, Piedmont, is one of Barolo’s most historic and revered estates. Under the stewardship of Fabio Alessandria, the winery continues its legacy of traditional winemaking, emphasizing minimal intervention and a deep respect for terroir. The estate is renowned for its commitment to classic Barolo expressions, often employing extended maceration and aging in large oak casks. The 2022 Barolo DOCG is a testament to Burlotto's dedication to quality. Crafted from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, the wine undergoes fermentation in open French oak vats, followed by malolactic fermentation and aging in large French oak barrels for 20 to 33 months, depending on the vintage. After bottling, the wine rests in the cellar for at least 9 months before release
