Yes, it might of taken us more than a decade to experience a Roman Red, but I can tell you after tasting the Federici Roma Rosso DOC 2022 with my colleagues, the wait is surely worth it! Not only did this enchant us with its beautiful aromas of ripe red cherries, laced with hints of rose petals and crushed raspberries, but there was also concentration, complexity and silkiness to match, that truly makes this blend of Montepulciano and the local indigenous varietal Cesanese shine way above its price point!
