Hi Folks, Heidi Schröck is the coolest female winemaker in Austria. She has gathered experience from places like South Africa and Germany and brought it all back to her native Austria. She took over the winery from her parents more than 20 years ago and has since spend much of her time reviving traditional wines of her Austro-Hungarian forefathers. That time and dedication to her work has certainly paid off with the 2019 release of her Pinot Blanc being critically acclaimed as the greatest vintage in Austria over the the last 10 years!
“I have been tasting regularly in Austria since 1988 and 2019 is certainly one of the best vintages I ever tasted there. I would rank it alongside 2011, 2009 and 1999 as one of the three vintages of the modern period. The best wines are not only concentrated, but they are also expressive and beautifully balanced. I'm putting some in my cellar!” Stuart Pigott
''It’s clear that the 2019 vintage represents incredible value for such artisan made wines. Be sure to stock up once these wines hit the shelves” Anne Krebiehl, Wine Enthusiast Magazine
''2019 was a great year for Austrian whites.'' Jancis Robinson
