Sold Out
With hindsight, we should have purchased more of this as Burgundy prices were always going to increase.
But today you can buy a back vintage at the old price, but only if you're quick. We have 60 bottles of Joseph Faiveley Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2019, a vintage that was sold out long ago. We've hang onto them and today can offer them to you at the price we would have 1 year ago - just $43.99. The going rate tor current 2020 vintage is $49.99, if you can find it.
Joseph Faiveley Bourgogne is the entry level of one of Burgundy's great producer's - Faiveley, a company that has one of the largest and best landholdings in Burgundy. And while this doesn't reach those dizzy heights of their top Grand Crus which go for more than $1000, it will give you that hint of pinot noir that only Burgundy can produce.
Beautiful ruby colour. This wine has pleasant, fresh, red-fruit aromas on the nose and palate. It has rich and very ripe substance, with fine round tannins. It's a very well-structured.
