''Defined by silky texture, its harmonious palatal softness and integral oenology. With distinct blackberry, strawberry, violet and spice nuances. Consistency, balance and clarity come to the forefront of this Negroamaro.'' 96 Points, Luca Maroni
Hi Folks, One of the biggest growth areas for European Wine Store in recent memory have come from the heel of Italy (Aka Puglia!) You will remember with great fondness our incredibly popular Masso Antico Salento Primitivo still kicking goals and winning new admirers all the time, however what might have skipped your attention is that this same producer Masso Antico also produces a fine rendition of Puglia's other main red varietal Negroamaro. This winery deserves a round of applause, as they always produce well rounded and polished styles of native Puglian varietals with their Negroamaro being a perfect example. This again has that trademark Southern Italian opulence to it, that we've all come to love, with a cacophony of aromas poised to win the affections of wine enthusiast's who adore fuller-style rich bold reds that are great matches with food and don't cost a bomb.
