''In the context of world-class white wines, this one delivers simply amazing value.'' Vinous Media (Previous Vintage Review) Winemaking at the Palacio de Fefiñanes dates back to the 17th Century!
''Whether I’m on holiday in Spain or at home in London, this is my favourite summer white. Come to think of it, I drink it pretty much all year round. As crisp and refreshing as an early morning swim in the Atlantic, it’s the quintessential seafood tipple, with tangy, citrus and lime flavours, a hint of stone fruit and a zesty, spritzy finish. A delicious unoaked white that tingles your palate. '' 94 Points, Tim Atkin (Previous Vintage Review)
''Sharply focused, mineral-driven lemon pith, pear skin and tarragon scents pick up a floral nuance with air. Shows sharp focus as well as depth on the palate, offering sappy Meyer lemon, pear and honeycomb flavors and a touch of herbacity. Finishes long with the floral and tarragon notes repeating. There's an intriguing, savory and briny character as well. In the context of world-class white wines, this one delivers simply amazing value.'' Vinous Media (Previous Vintage Review)
''The Albariño de Fefiñanes feels expressive and ready, very approachable, with a harmonious nose. It's floral, varietal, aromatic and clean, with a balanced palate combining volume with great freshness.'' Wine Advocate Magazine (Previous Vintage Review)
''This comes from Rías Baixas' most historic producer of Albariño.'' Amy Wislocki, Decanter Magazine
Winemaking at the Palacio de Fefiñanes dates back to the 17th Century, with the distinctive vineyards of the Salnes Valley ensuring delicacy and finesse. Fefinanes’ magic starts in the vineyard. The estate is surrounded by hectare upon hectare of old vines planted in the sandy, stony soil that produces the purest Albarino. An excellent, ripe and refreshing Albariño. This is an enticing wine with aromas of apple and pear with notes of white flowers. On the palate this wine delivers flavours of ripe apple, white stone fruits and a refreshing minerality with a hint of salinity and crisp acidity on the finish.
