Soalheiro Clássico Alvarinho 2024

Soalheiro is one of the benchmark producers of Alvarinho in Portugal’s Monção e Melgaço region, and Clássico is the wine that started it all for the Cerdeira family in 1982. Made from 100% Alvarinho, the 2024 comes from the distinctive warm-day, cool-night conditions of northern Vinho Verde, producing a dry white with freshness, aromatic intensity and excellent natural acidity.

Hand harvested, fermented in stainless steel and matured on fine lees, it is bright and elegant, with tropical fruit, citrus and mineral characters carried by crisp acidity and a gently textured palate. The 2024 was awarded 97 points and Best in Show at the 2025 Decanter World Wine Awards, with the judges praising its “svelte and textured” palate and “natural drive and freshness”.
