"For me had quite an exotic fragrance, showing ripe, sweet red fruits and spices. Bold perfumes of dark berries and sweet mocha/chocolate. The fruit and savoury spice flavours are intense, and the tannins assist a balanced flow across the palate. Well-structured with plenty of drive, the eager fruit and positive tannins well aligned. This is just what region and variety should be doing together. " Nick Bulleid, Gourmet Traveller Wine Guide (Previous Vintage Review)
''Bright, highly perfumed cherry, blackberry and floral aromas are complemented by hints of tobacco and Asian spices. It offers vibrant red/blue fruit flavors that display a suave blend of power and delicacy thanks to a core of juicy acidity. The floral quality comes back on a long, sappy, mineral-tinged finish that's shaped by smooth, well-knit tannins.'' 91 Points, Vinous Media (Previous Vintage Review)
''Pure crunchy Mencía: raspberry fruit with cracked pepper and firm acidity. A fine example of a Spanish red variety on slate soils.'' Sarah Jane Evan's, Decanter Magazine, (Previous Vintage Review)
