Varvaglione Dodici e Mezzo Primitivo del Salento 2023

The nose is dominated by juicy red berries, complemented by fine vanilla notes and a hint of roasted aromas from the wood. On the palate, the wine is wonderfully accessible. Juicy, round and full of fruit. Ageing in American barriques adds further flavour and a beautiful aromatic depth. At the same time, a present but well-balanced acidity provides the freshness that a Primitivo needs.
