Really expressive nose, full of yellow plum and apple, and delightfully floral. Long and harmonious palate, zesty and racy. Excellent stuff.

The Alpine region of Alto Adige is based in the foothills of the Alps, and this lush, green part of the country has been producing truly beautiful wines for hundreds of years. The winery of Wilhelm Walch is a great and traditional example of an Alto Adige winery, and for five generations and one hundred and fifty years it has helped shape the region and forge its reputation. Here, among the Dolomite mountains, there is a distinctive Italian flair to proceedings which produces wines of real, distinctive character.
