“The Valpolicella Classico Superiore impresses with a dark, rich display of black raspberries mixed with savory herbs and hints of brown spice. It’s silky in feel with tart red and hints of blue fruits, as notes of mocha, licorice and tobacco develop toward the close. This is packed full of character, and although it shows a bit of the warmth of the vintage, balance is maintained throughout. When all is said and done, this is a wonderfully satisfying glass of Valpolicella.'' Vinous Media (Previous Vintage Review)
Zenato Valpolicella Classico Superiore has always been one of the best value examples available in Australia. Actually, not just Australia, but also Italy; its all quality. Smooth, round with the right balance between freshness and savoury notes. Dry and full-flavoured with tones of dried plums, chocolate and dried herbs. It has an excellent contoured structure of velvet tannins, fine acidity with a long persistent finish.
