Roberto Sarotto Barbaresco Riserva DOCG 2017

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Barbaresco, it's gracefully referred to as the Queen of Italian wines sitting alongside the equally revered Barolo. It's produced from the Piedmontese varietal Nebbiolo from a town almost 10Kms from Barolo and like Barolo itself, its uncommon to find a Barbaresco Riserva available for less than $100 bucks;  Now like most wines, the vintage is very important and its reassuring to know that one of the most influential Italian focused wine writers Kerin O'Keefe, has given a ringing endorsement for Roberto Sarotto Barbaresco Riserva DOCG's

Its goes without saying, this Barbaresco Riserva 2018 will disappear in a flash, so if you love your Barbaresco's and you don't want to spend an extravagant amount on one; than this might be an optimum time to do it!
