Roberto Sarotto Gaia Principe Barbaresco 2018

Roberto Sarotto’s family has been growing vines in Piedmont since the 19th century, with vineyards today spread across some of the region’s most important wine-growing areas. Gaia Principe is a single-site Barbaresco made from Nebbiolo, grown on the calcareous clay and marl soils of the appellation. The estate describes the wine as ruby red with orange tones, with violet aromatics and a full-bodied, spicy and complex palate.
